The Brighton Annual Fund Campaign
The Annual Fund supports Brighton’s goal of continued academic excellence. It provides unrestricted gifts to our current year’s operational budget. Contributions to the Annual Fund are more than a donation, but also an investment in our students for many years to come. Participation of this fund by alumni, parents, grandparents, parents, and friends of Brighton are extremely important and shows your faith in Brighton and the quality education we deliver. Without the Annual Fund we would be limited in providing the extra support, training, and outreaches that our students and community need.
The Brighton School is not a full-cost tuition school, which means our tuition and fees do not cover the entire cost of educating each student. Tuition covers core salaries and benefits. Your giving bridges the gap and contributes to professional development, to ensure our students get the BEST therapies and academic support in their classrooms. Additionally, this fund supports all of the many curricular needs that our students need for learning.
Students with dyslexia and other related learning differences require the BEST of the BEST to instruct them. We invest in training and in the professional development of our teachers, so that they may be equipped to instruct our students and meet their needs. Each gifts allows us to magnify our resources and make each student’s education meaningful and targeted to his/her needs.
All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible and corresponds to the school’s fiscal year, beginning on July 1 with payments until May 30 the following year. Our goal is 100% participation from our Brighton families. Donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated. Below are suggested giving levels and benefits of each level of giving.

Matching Gifts Program
A matching gift is an easy way to leverage your gift into a larger donation. Check to see if your employer will match your gift to The Brighton School – DAGBR. We are a recognized 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible and always greatly appreciated.
Bengal Society ’72
This society, named in honor of the year the school was founded, was launched to recognize consistent annual giving to the Annual Fund each year. Donors who support the Annual Fund for two or more consecutive years will be recognized as members of this consistent giving society. This giving society names will be placed near our Giving Tree in the hallway of our main building.
