The second Parent Education Forum Phonological Awareness will held on Thursday, October 24th at 6:30pm in The Bengal Den. The topic will be presented by Paulan Varnau and Hayley Harper, Reading Therapists, and Shirley Grimes, Reading Teacher.
At this forum you will learn why we teach phonological and phonemic awareness across all grade levels and how it relates to reading. Find out how you can assist your child at home with these skills. We will also discuss the importance of fluency and why we require students to do fluency activities daily.
