Brighton's third Parent Education Forum will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 6:30pm in the Bengal Den. The topic for the evening is Math. This forum will be presented by Kerry Eastwick, 6th-10th Grade Math Therapist, and Michele Macloud, K-5th Math Interventionist.
Mathematics education has changed rapidly with new strategies and ways to do math that we never learned in school. Join us to explore the world of multisensory math (using more than just a pen and paper). We'll look at some of the common strategies used to develop your child's math concepts, as well as learning how you can adapt what you have at home to reinforce their learning. We'll cover all year levels from elementary through to high school.
