Paulan joined The Brighton School in 2019 and currently serves as a Reading Therapist in our Academic Center. Paulan received a Master of Education in Dyslexia Therapy from The University of Southern Mississippi in the summer of 2019 and became a Certified Academic Language Therapist in September of 2019. She has been trained in the methods of Association Method, Phonics First/Structures, Orton-Gilligham Approach, and Sequential English Education (SEE). Prior to working at The Brighton School, Paulan spent three years as the Dyslexia Interventionist with the Central Community School System. She began her teaching career at St. Aloysius School where she taught third grade for 12 years. Paulan is passionate about creating lifelong learners.
We are a school that is dedicated to students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We believe that ALL students can learn. It’s a matter of how the instruction is given and the support that is available to push students to their potential.
